We believe that every young person deserves equitable access to high-quality education, career readiness opportunities, and a supportive environment that empowers growth, confidence, and purpose.

Partnership Announcement

We are excited to annouce our new partnership with The Boys and GIrls Club of Fresno (Zimmerman).

Together, we’re launching the EFA Inspire Youth Storytelling Program. A powerful initiative designed to introduce young people to new possibilities and expand their horizons by connecting them with real-world stories from diverse professionals.

Storytelling can make a change.

Inspire Youth Storytelling is a research-based program developed from the study, “The Power of Storytelling: Designing Extracurricular Activities to Inspire Career Dreams in Elementary and Middle School Students in California’s Central Valley.” Our goal is to Introduce young people to new possibilities and expand their horizons by connecting them with real-world stories from diverse professionals

EFA’s First Appearance at the 46th Annual Central California Research Symposium

We had the opportunity to present our research, "The Power of Storytelling: Designing Extracurricular Activities to Inspire Career Dreams in Elementary and Middle School Students in California’s Central Valley." This presentation also introduced the Inspire Youth Storytelling program, a growing initiative built on the foundation of this research.

Nearly 90,000 youth in Fresno are unable to access educational opportunities.
